Style & Function Unlike other cantilever TV brackets, which in most circumstances only achive a closed depth distance of 120mm (7 inches) or more from the wall, our product is practical and unique in this area, folding away neatly to an impresive and unpresidented 49.8mm, just under 2 inches. By comparison to the out dated large back-plated tv brackets which impinge on the home entertainment environment, our back plate is narrow, with detatchable back plate covers to give a better quality finish and a modern look which is far more suited to the modern slim line tv`s of today. Our hinge mechanism used to operate the tilting feature is a one-touch operation, advancing from the widely used and dated butterfly clips which require much manual adjustment. The cantilever arm reaches an impressive 500mm extention and able to manouvre left and right, providing the much needed versatility to optimise any viewing experience. Strength & weight The HDTV2-M TV Wall Bracket is made from 2.5mm thick reinforced steel box section and flat plate to ensure maximum strength and support, also the bracket is engineered in such a way so that the two cantilever arms are spaced apart nearly one inch more than other brackets of this nature, the bracket has been purposely manufactured in this way which is proven to provide more support to the TV and present less strain on to the wall, producing a far more ridged wall bracket. Each arm is securely fixed and pinned through to the 2.5mm back plate with M10 Alan key head bolts & lock nuts, then fully tightened to the wall using the 3.5 inch coach bolts provided. The HDTV-2M has been load tested to over 80kg in a controlled situation with zero function failures, as a guide most TV`s up to 46 Inch rarely go beyond 20kg so the recommended maximum load for this bracket is 40kg.
